A young girl, Lilo, ends up becoming friends with an alien named Stitch. They are both outcasts who are trying to build a family. With a beautiful Hawaiian setting, Elvis tunes aiding the transitions from one scene to the next, and lovable characters, this movie knocks it out of the park.

Lilo & Stitch is such a classic! Another heartfelt and action-packed movie from Disney I HIGHLY recommend is Treasure Planet! Oh my god! It is so underrated and has a Father-Son relationship through a surrogate father figure and the main character.

In the beginning Lilo says she was late to dance class because she had to feed Pudge the fish. She also mentions that she does this because Pudge controls the weather. It seems like this is supposed to be telling us how odd and quirky she is. However later on she mentions that their parents died when they went for a car ride on a stormy night. So the theory is that she believes Pudge controls the weather and so she feeds him so he will keep it from storming and nobody else will be hurt. It's both very cool and a little heartbreaking.

Admittedly it's a little paraphrased... "This is my Dragon. He's little, and broken, but still good. ...Yeah, still good." (for those who don't know, or don't realize the relevance, remember that Toothless has a prosthetic on his tail... hence 'broken')
