[ARCHIVE] art dump #3

Here's the last of the archive art dumps for a while! I still have a few individual archive pieces but this is the last dump of random art. I'm also making this one public as i don't feel like these really need to be behind a paywall, though these are in higher resolution than what FA limited me to back when i made them.

These are all gifts or personal art, from varying points through my time making furry art. The first two are personal art i've drawn of my fursona: a small dive into hyper breasts and a post-tf sketch of mouse-Camper. The third drawing was a birthday gift for my friend Ellis, of their fursona's past deer form. They love some chunky cellulite so i did my best attempt of capturing their flabby look back then. I'd say this is probably one of the best examples of how far i've come in the past few years. These three were all made roughly in 2018 thru early 2019. I'd say more but they're pretty simple and there's nothing terribly special i can say about them that i haven't said before about other work!

The final drawing is a gift i made for Caudle this year. It's one of his alternate fursonas: Quency the Mechamouse. Quency was a new character at the time and i wanted to throw together some quick art of him to surprise my favorite bat. I fought a bit to nail down his look as i was rusty with a pencil then, but i made it work with a little elbow grease. His robot tail was very fun to play with. I imagined Quency being pretty high tech himself but ultimately still enjoying records and stuff.

You'll see going forward that a lot of my sketchbook work is a bit deliberately rough looking. I only have a phone camera at the moment for documenting traditional work. I just take a picture, import it, do some cleaning up (how much varies from piece to piece), and add on a some filters so i don't just post everything with a boring black-and-white on paper color scheme.

Most of my work actually starts in my sketchbook! I like drawing in pencil a lot more than digital art, but digital affords me a lot of cool stuff i can't quite abandon. You'll see the quirks of both collide in a lot of work going forward, to varying degrees. It's really not likely you'll see much art from me that's 100% digital or traditional at the moment.
