Reading Lord of the Rings until I Regain my Faith in Humanity

What's up gamers, here's the concillation prize I got for attempting and failing my Blood Meridian essay this month. See you next year and thanks for your support, I hope to continue to earn it

Blood Meridian is a Fairy Tale, actually

Once my current sponsorships run out (March 2026), I'm going to start doing 4 videos a year.

It's become clear that in order to reach my own standards, this has to happen. I'm finishing up my December video and am generally unhappy with its messiness. The problem is this: I wanted to make a video about Blood Meridian, Conquistadors, and the perils of fairy tales but that video's bibliography is going to be like 15 books long. I realized that I had to make a smaller video, very quickl...

A VERY SERIOUS Geronimo Trailer

I'll be direct:

Geronimo's story is pathetic. It's the only word. I don't like the guy.

Naturally, my assumptions about a historical period are routinely-challenged once I dive deep into a subject, but never before has my opinion on a historical figure changed so drastically. I hesitate to call the video "anti"-Geronimo, the guy had a brutal life and became brutal to reflect that. All the same, he's a deeply-frustrating man to discuss and we'll get into why. He rapidly sine-w...

The Apache Wars: Death of a Dreamer

Today, DJ Peach Cobbler continues the story of the long and brutal Apache Wars. By 1875 they appeared to be concluded, until U.S. policy changed to one of consolidating all Apache tribes on the San Carlos Reservation. This policy would lead to wars anew, with Victorio taking the warpath against the United States government and Geronimo becoming a shepherd of a desperate flock. This would culminate with the death of "The Dreamer", an Apache prophet who claimed that all the dead warriors would ...

Blooper + sneak peek

I once promised Patrons bloopers, but I removed that membership benefit for a simple reason:

I do not make mistakes.

A joke. I just don't laugh when I mess up? I flub a line, I do it again, it's not interesting.

However, I just returned from my second trip to Big Bend National Park where I filmed Part Two of my Apache Wars trilogy. Lots to be done, but it will be completed by the end of the month. The script is stronger than Part One because I get to go into more detail ...

The Apache Wars: Part One

Part Two will be up at the end of November and will largely center around Victorio. Victorio is the type of person you would expect Geronimo to be, if that makes sense. I'll also get more into the Reservation system. It's already written. I gotta drive back to Big Bend!

I think the usual rule with movies will hold out here. As in: the second isn't burdened by setting everything up. The script flows much nicer, and we get to really appreciate some details, which we didn't much get ...

Update on the Apache

That Halo video I discussed will certainly come out at SOME point, but I've decided to keep it in the reserve as I embark upon my Apache Wars trilogy. Three videos over three months, each one covering roughly a decade and focusing on a different figure. I really cannot bear to not deliver again, but it's going to be a busy three months, and I need the Halo video ready in case of a delay.

This is what Yeehaw Summer should have been (it's Yeehaw Fall now) but I wasn't ready to pull that...

A Return to Form (and school)

I started going to college. What am I majoring in? C'mon.

My first day in History class, my professor introduced the idea that History isn't just "what happened"! Rather, it's an argument. I wanted to crawl out of my skin. Obviously, most in that class were window-licking 19-year-olds, and I know he's doing his job. I cannot wait to reveal my power level.

That being said, I am thoroughly enjoying the experience! I learned more about the Karankawa, a native group I considere...

This is my Final Draft LOL

Actually made a few edits to tone down the violence. The video is already so abrasive, and it is upsetting to see.

I'll be sharing behind-the-scenes stuff with Patrons soon, trying out some new "animation" techniques for the next video and I'll be taking you along for the journey! Let's hope it actually leads somewhere!

A Brief Apology

I have absolutely no idea how this video is going to be taken.

It was the product of months of writing and revision, and I'm frankly unsure if that laborious writing process translated to a superior finished product. I hope it did. The video's about hope.

The video I'm going to post today is going to touch on my abuse as a child, its lasting consequences on my worldview, and how there's nothing to be taken from the Garden. We're gonna talk about factory farming again.

Switch 2 Review from a sad man

Gamers, I am very disappointed in myself here. Y'all deserve better than "nothing panned out" but, indeed, nothing panned out.

I hope this is at least entertaining. I will be back early next month with something a bit more dark and serious and yeehaw. There's a chapter in the essay titled "Wow, that's a lot of rape!"

So, there will probably be an uncensored version here. It will also have some of the childhood essay stuff I mention here. Sorry I keep sinisterly alluding to it ...

Progress Report

Working on a little Halo rant and got the slide projector needed for a larger project. Sorry if I seem low-energy, I had this bizarre allergic reaction to SOMETHING, I had to go to the ER and they just gave me some of those epipens. Not sure what it was, but my eyelids have been itchy for days and my eyes puffed up all weird.

Anyway, Halo--

Apaches, Conquistadors, & The Camp Grant Massacre

Greetings Gamers,

In this video I will discuss briefly the Spanish influence on the "wild west" as well as the Camp Grant Massacre. The goal with this video was to establish just how widespread violence, raiding, and enslavement was in this part of the world. Also, to show how the cyclical nature of violence enforces itself.

In the next video, I will share my "capital e" essay, or rather, what it's turned into. It's going to get dark and personal.

I find myself, this summer,...

Two Things (you gave me a horny book)

Video up in a few days about the Camp Grant Massacre and the Spanish legacy of enslavement & raiding in the "wild west".

Also, I got a bunch of recommendations to read "My Confession" by Samuel Chamberlain. I'm 50 pages in, and I want to make a 30 minute video on Samuel's THING with women. Have YOU read it? He's got something going on, a Madonna-Whore Complex, possibly. The amount of lusty young women, their virtue intact, who go frothing at the gams for this guy is ridiculous. ...

Fun Schizo Theory (not really schizo just real)

HOWDY YET AGAIN, YOUTUBE IS TRUMP'S PUPPET.

Andrew Callaghan has spoken out that YouTube is intentionally suppressing anything related to the Apache. I, too, as the main character of the universe, am being affected by this disgusting and blatant attempt at manipulating the public. For real, that Cremony video was MURDERED in a way I haven't seen happen to a video in awhile.

Regardless, it is wild to look up from the books and remember how ongoing this all is. I ask that time stop ...

Welcome to Yeehaw Summer

This one was a nightmare. The video ended up being 40 minutes and I cut it down to what it is now.

I hope that you can enjoy the finished product, my writing has become unfocused but I salvaged this one in editing. I have too much to say about this place and time! We'll get there

Gamers,

I have elected to do a "Q&A" thing for my video outros. Fr fr, no foolin. Just post them as comments here, please. The video is about a phrenologist cowboy fighting the Apache, so maybe some wild west stuff, but as it pertains to Indian wars.

I don't know nothin' bout them white boys. Only the ones with big mustaches that did war crimes.

Don't buy DOOM: The Dark Ages

Freezes over and over, very disappointed, about to DESTROY Microsoft with my gamer logic.

Haven't made something angry for awhile! Let's have fun with it. The running joke is that Id Software has lost the ability to pleasure my Gamer body. My loins are aflame with desire, and yet they only tease me.

Will be up before the end of the month!

That essay I've been discussing is going to be worked on slowly, in the background. Trust me when I say I am very determined to finish...

Behind the Scenes + Film

My most expensive video thus far is “How Femboys Won the Vietnam War”.  The Producer (me) insisted that we shoot on digital for several reasons.  The first being: it’s a YouTube video.  The second being: I am wearing a dress and saying UwU.  The third being: I forgot what he said here.  I was too busy thinking about how pretty I felt in that dress.  Also: how good it felt killing Viet Cong.

The Director (me) insisted we shoot on film ...

Progress Report - "Mid" May

I have been trying to write my way into accepting humanity, myself included. I have written, these past four months, endless thoughts on man's nature and my struggle to accept it. I have finally, after much difficulty, turned this existential despair into a worthwhile commercial product. Mother would be proud.

I am going to talk about being molested in an abandoned church, True Detective, Children of Men, Skyrim, and my best friend. Somewhere in there I can accept us once more. The...

Here's that second video!

Found a nice quote for y'all. It would be perfect for my next video, but I'm unfortunately already doing a Slaughterhouse Five thing (FINALLY). That should be done around the 15th, but y'all should get the SPONSOR + AD FREE VERSION (with Kanye West music) a bit early.

"For the fires grow cold and the dances fail,

And the songs in their echoes die;

And what have we left but the graves beneath,

And, above, the waiting sky?" - The Song of the Ancient People

You deserve better, and now you will get it

I have two videos, right now, which I cannot upload to YouTube! I'm trying to SELL OUT, but they won't buy!

Patreon will be the focus of my work moving forward. It's become clear that both sponsors and YouTube are far too fickle. From now on, all Patrons will get the REAL videos. In practice, this means no ads, no sponsors, and I get to use movie clips and music as I wish. You have deserved this for some time, and I hope you enjoy the finished products.

Furthermore: All Patre...

Alright, so what's with that Geronimo thing?

The fact is that I'm in a shit financial situation and am still crawling my way out of the pit I dug for myself. I'm still hopeful that YouTube will reinstate me into the partner program, if you've got the time then bothering them on Twitter would be nice. I'm starting a podcast with friends as well, I'll share that soon.

All the same, you should know how I'm spending my time. I'm eager to do a longer historical project, and the Geronimo one was about half-completed when personal iss...

To be quite honest, I don't know WHAT the fucking problem is

War Thunder is dragging its feet. This is really pissing me off because, frankly? It's not my best work. The format worked in the Biden administration but not now. I realized this too late.

Of course, posting a 10 minute "simply ok" Crackdown is not the end of the world. My life is shit right now. Dead cat, substance abuse, relationship ended, moving across the country. Between the state of my life and politics right now, it's hard to find anything funny. Of course, it could AL...

Hi, I'm DJ Peach Cobbler & we gotta talk

As this year draws to a close, I think it'd be wise to take stock. This has been, after all, my first full year of being a full-time YouTuber.

This year I announced and then unannounced the end of my gaming videos. I completed a video I'm sickeningly proud of called The Mad God of the Yucatan.  “We had one war with Mexico to take Arizona, and we should have another to make her take it back.”

It's September 4th, 1886. Skeleton Canyon in Arizona.

A man named Goyahkla (One-Who-Yawns) had led his band of 34 Apache to escape the reservation upon which they had been languishing. Under his leadership, they have always rem...
