It's done. Set aside 2 and a half hours and enjoy a rambling, semi-coherent re-telling of what i guess constitutes as the lineal MMA heavyweight timeline, from 2005-2015.
I'm sorry i couldn't wrap up the story in this video, i tried my best, but after 3 and 1/2 months of work, and still not being anywhere near the end, i had to call time on this one for now. We'll get there in part 5.

A few random highlights for me: - Yay the Coker interview clips are back! I like that you don't make it a big thing and are just really normal about it. - You're right, the home depot signing was definitely one of the best things in the whole series lol - for such funny videos, it's really nice that you're always so serious about fighters' health. It's clear you're always very intentional about when to cut the jokes and let a serious thing be serious Anyway cheers on finishing such a massive video! I had a really fun evening watching it. (Oh also I think someone said this already but just for future reference, it's generally better to use male pronouns for a trans boy even if he hasn't done anything to transition his appearance yet. A lot of us aren't safe to present authentically, so whether or not someone has visibly transitioned isn't necessarily always a good indication of how they'd like to be referred to. But just generally being supportive matters way more, and you're obviously really cool about that : ) So I don't think it's a big deal.)

Speaking of lineal, when I was watching UFC 42, specifically the fight of Duane "Bang" Ludwig vs Genki Sudo, Joe Rogan made a reference to a lineal championship, and ufc 42 took place in 2003. Rogan stated "we should point out again that Bang Ludwig knocked out Jens Pulver, so Bang Ludwig in a sense is the linear in the UFC 155 lbs division." He mentioned that at 5 minutes and 53 seconds of the fight/video; you can find the fight on YT too, and that's interesting to know that some people in the early MMA days knew about and was maybe even tracking lineal champions in something other than Boxing! Maybe that could be your next topic(s) for videos in the future, since I don't think anyone has done videos on the lineal championships for MMA light heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, etc. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there, and congrats on finishing part 4!

I have to say, I was never a fan of Bigfoot Silva, not the most dynamic fighter (IMO) but seeing that he went down like that with so many losses in a row is just heartbreaking. There are too many fighters that no one seems to protect from themselves. The commissions, the agents, the promoters they all are responsible for these travesties. I agree, the people giving these fighters fights should be jailed. Ludicrous. Also, does anyone else wonder if he knows where the fuck he is these days? Like, does he realize he is now married with children? I can't tell if that would fucking awesome or horrifying.

Made for extremely enjoyable 2.5 hours, and I watched the whole Fedor segment all over again. 2 minor things, since you welcome suggestions: 1) you've referred a few times to Fedor's "10-year reign". While I understand where it's coming from, his actual reign was much shorter than that. 2) While Datsik is indeed a turd so humongous, plumbers tell each other campfire stories about him during their corporate forest retreats, and it is amazing that he's holding a KO win over an UFC title challenger, it gets even better. He also holds a KO win over a former UFC champion - Andrei Arlovski.

However, I am going to offer my first piece of (hopefully) constructive criticism to any of your videos, as I usually find them to be tonally and structurally flawless. I really think you should consider removing the Star Wars gag. It’s so tonally different than the actual video intro, and it makes a pretty jarring transition. I also don’t imagine it’s setting up a later call back that will be paid off; so to me it feels… unnecessary. And I find the humming a bit aggravating (it’s stuck in my head now 😂). I’m sure the vid is 10/10 otherwise, but wanted to offer some constructive criticism if you’re open to it. I work in a different medium of visual storytelling, and I’m always so impressed by your editing, writing, music choices, etc. Keep making ‘em bleed, baby, and thanks for all the hard work on this video! I know it was a huge lift and we’re all here to support you ♥️
