Lineal Update 10: Double Digits

Good evening gang!

I hope you're all doing well this fine Sunday eve. The above video is just me experimenting with some new filler graphics i made specifically for this video, and I'm pretty pleased with the result! Not exactly a thrilling update, I know, but hey, it's all progress...

The graphics are taken from a couple of posters I've made for the video, just as the release gets closer I wanted to make some hype shit to post on insta/YT etc. Please enjoy!

As for the video itself, we are officially at the two hour mark as of tonight. I just finished writing and recording the post lineal career of Bigfoot Silva.. spoiler alert: his career did NOT go well.

But yeah that puts the video officially at 2hr 3m runtime as of this evening, making it the longest lineal video by over 30 mins. And at that, I'm kinda at a crossroads now. Its taken 2 hours and 9 weeks to get this far, and i still have Cains post lineal career, Werdums 2nd lineal reign, Stipe, DC, and Ngannou to cover. At this rate, its simply not possible to finish the video by the time I had originally planned (July 4th weekend for release on YT, and the weekend before that for you guys).

I can power through and try and finish this thing in one video but were probably looking at another 4-5 weeks of work, and I'm also painfully aware this could lead to burning myself out and rushing the end which obviously I want to avoid. I'm also painfully aware its 3 months now since my last release and unfortunately YouTube demands sacrifices to the algorithm, the longer you go without an upload, the less likely it is to recommend your videos at all. I feel like even wrapping up this video with Cains story, still leaves this as a behemoth ass video that's got some of my favourite work Ive done in any videos so far, including but not limited to a rendition of Katy Perry's seminal smash hit Firework.

I'm gonna think it over anyway, and well see how it goes, but yeah, i apologize in advance if this thing goes to a 5 part series after I had promised to finish it off in 4. Id also be lying if i said part of the reason i wanted to finish it in this video is because i know ill never top Bastards of Heaven for a title... unless i make it BOH Part 1 and 2, like that amazing Zack Snyder movie Rebel Moon Part 1 and 2. Everyone loved those, right?? What could go wrong emulating them??
