Lineal Update #6!

What's up gang, welcome to another weekly installment of me freaking the fuck out about how much progress I've made!

Well we have officially crossed the 1 hour mark of the video, and you know I've reached the 2010s as I've had to mention both LMFAO's "Sexy and I know it" and The Black Eyed Peas "I gotta feeling" (for legitimate video reasons).

Fedor is finally in the rear view, and I've now made it as far as Overeem vs Bigfoot Silva. It feels a bit weird to essentially spend 45 minutes talking about one fighter and then cover 2 entire lineal reigns (Werdum and Overeem) in the following 20 minutes or so, but Werdum didn't even manage one defense, and Overeem only had one successful defence, so things do speed up a bit once Fedor is out of the picture.

Normally around the 1 hour mark is when I start to think about wrapping things up, but after getting the first 45 minutes out as a teaser last week it really does take some of the pressure off, I don't feel under the gun quite so much as usual. I do hope you enjoyed the Fedor segment and as always if you spotted anything incorrect or or any glitches or whatever just let me know.

I'm still waiting to hear back on whether or not i can use the Coker interview clips in the final video, which is honestly fucking annoying. I mean if you weren't expecting me to use the clips in a youtube video, why talk to a youtuber. I do like going the extra mile for these videos like talking to Dan Severn and now Coker, it's exciting to essentially have your own, home grown research done ant not just showing existing interview clips, which is why its such a pain in the ass now to be left in a limbo waiting to find out if it can be used or not.

But regardless, progress is happening. Its a bit slower than id have liked, as in the last couple of weeks the Streaming series idea has picked up a bit of steam. But if i can be real for a second: working on that is mostly aggravating, highly stressful, and far, far less enjoyable than just working on these videos. It's kinda bullshit to be brutally honest and id rather spend interminable hours digging through clips of Overeem flexing than do one more fucking meeting.

ANYWAY. Enough rambling for now! I hope you're all keeping well, and hopefully the pace will keep steady on Lineal 4 in the coming weeks. I'm tentatively hoping to have this done by mid June, early July at the absolute latest. Again this is a mammoth amount of shit to cover in one video, so please, bear with me!
