TUFdate: 2 TUF 2 Furious

Now that that's said, good evening! I hope all of you are doing well. I'm sorry I didn't have time for an update last week, but I've just been pretty much flat out working on the video these last few weeks, and haven't really had time even for the updates I'm afraid. I had crunched the numbers and realized that it's been 2 months since Dux went live which kinda lit a fire under my ass to get this one done, as I was pretty much convinced Dux came out like..3 weeks ago.

The good news is we're getting close to the end now! I can't say exactly how much longer it'll be, another 2-3 weeks max if I had to guess. But the end is mostly in sight, I'm not rushing it as I know rushed = lower quality, but I set out the last few plot points I want to hit yesterday, so there's only a few dominoes left to fall before this leviathan is beached.

It's currently a little over 90 minutes long, and Id say its on track to be the longest video I've done yet, which is weird as I kinda didn't expect that going in. I figured a tight 60 minutes ought to do it, but I have a track record for underestimating these things and now this has sprawled beyond all scope and reason. Send help.

I've got some good stuff in there, so far we've got Season 11, 12, 13 & 17, with expanded sections on Chuck and Tito (s11), GSP vs Koscheck (s12), Tony Ferguson (s13), and multiple competitors from S17 and also a critical analysis of Chael vs Wanderlei on TUF Brazil. WANNANOW, indeed.

So yeah overall I think this will be a good one. There are laughs, there are tearjerker moment, there may even be video footage of me doing jiu jitsu on a pillow and throwing a phone in a bin. Its all a rich tapestry.

So as you all know I am pretty anti-sponsor. I legitimately deleted about 5 emails from Raid shadow legends a few weeks ago, as they just kept on fucking harassing me. I have kicked off the beginnings of an actual legit working partnership with a fight gear company now tho, and they will be doing a limited run of branded rashguards, shorts and spats for MMA/BJJ. I'm genuinely hyped about it as it isn't just the usual "oh this video is brought to you by these fucking shmoes, use promo code flanger for 10% off". That was how they initially approached me with an offer, but I countered by suggesting we actually collaborate on a real product related to the channel, and was pretty surprised they agreed to it! They'll actually be using the just bleed guy logo on the gear and it's a proper partnership instead of just selling someone else's stuff.

I legitimately have no other news. I'm so deep in the weeds with the video that most things outside of it have fallen by the wayside. Kengan Ashura season 2 starts this week tho, if you like anime with a grounding in real life martial arts its worth a watch! That's all for now!
