What the fuck is up Dennys,
So first off, shoutout to the homie who makes the webcomic "The Tomato Can" who put a channel easter egg into one of their issues! (zoom in on the vest of the guy with the mustache in the image above if you're on mobile, it might be a bit too small to see otherwise) The Tomato Can | WEBTOON (webtoons.com) It still amazing to me to see little random bits of support like this. This artist clearly has a pretty deep love of MMA and combat sports, his main character is a bum called Elijah Zelenoff (lol) who is trying to become a legit fighter and not a tomato can. Check it out if you're into that kinda thing!
So anyway, without a video to work on currently I'm just keeping you all updated as to what else is going on and the answer is, not a whole lot!
I'm in full on downtime, mostly, at the moment. The TV series idea is still ongoing, but almost into it's final form. I'm essentially revising the trailer every day based on feedback from people my agent knows (one of whom was Ariel Helwani, who apparently, fucking hated the trailer haha, but then again I did kinda subtly shit on him for his unrelenting support of Jake Paul so maybe that has something to do with it). But I've done the majority of the edits they asked for now, so I think, if this last version doesn't get sent back to me with more notes, then its essentially 100% done and in the hands of my agent to get it sold. So that's exciting/terrifying.

So as I said in the last update, I think this is the summer/fall of finishing trilogies, and I'm feeling like TUF 3 is next. The TUF videos haven't really done great numbers views-wise but it doesn't bother me, I know you guys enjoy them and they are a good nostalgia trip. And it doesn't feel right to leave the trilogy unfinished! Especially now that McGregor is looking like he's about to lose a clean sweep in the latest TUF series.
IMPORTANT: I've reset the password to all the Vimeo videos (I'll make a separate post about this too so its easier to find, and also include it in a welcome message to everyone who joins going forward). But the password for any private videos on vimeo now is: DIMMAK. Aside from just being Ad-free, the vimeo versions do have some slight differences too. As they're not subject to copyright fuckery, some of the videos, off the top of my head I know the CM Punk one and the Frank Dux one, have different outro musics than the YT version (and better music IMO). So its always worth checking them out if you wanted to re=-watch an older video, you might jsut see something you haven't seen before, like how the CM Punk video initially was, before the fucking WWE copyright Sith Lords ripped it to shreds.
In other news, one of my Patrons is also working on an absolutely sick design for a channel logo/shirt. Its still very early days, but in essence, it's got a chalice full of blood for the just bleed gods, the deadly hand of Count Dante performing a Dim Mak, among other things. Proving this dude absolutely fucking gets what this channel is all about and I can't wait to show it to you all when its finally done!
The Frank Dux video has done incredibly well, with 230K views in one week! It was the fastest video to hit 100k, which honestly I am still kinda shocked by. I thought the Jake Paul one would hold that record, but Frank > Jake I guess. I'm still a bit annoyed by the screw ups in the video but fuck it, what's done is done. I guess I'm doing okay for someone whos videos are just 60+ minutes of formulaic metaphors and virtue signaling

I always wondered, is the opposite of virtue signaling, lack of virtue signaling?
Well aside from that, it's been a week of catching up on various media I didn't get to indulge in over the last 2 months. Caught up on Record of Ragnarok, this show has no right to be as good as it is. It's so stupid, but so well animated and how they actually manage to craft enjoyable backstories to these gods v mortal fights, and drag a single fight out over the course of like 3+ episodes, is commendable. Also, every single character in this show is ridiculously hot. I love it.

I'm trying to play Amnesia: The Bunker, but its the kind of game that can only be played at night, in a dark room, not just because its a horror game but because its so fucking dark its impossible to play during the day. I like it tho, its a good mash up of Classic Resident Evil survival horror with Amnesia "hide from the slobbering arcane monstrosity" style gameplay. I reinstalled Tekken 7 too. Its good, but man is till think Tekken Tag Tournament was the best one in the series.
And finally, the all important what movie did I watch this weekend?
Decided to go with a classic, 28 Days Later. I watched this movie 'til the DVD wore out back in 2003. It's a movie I absolutely adored, as a die hard zombie fan it felt like a real evolution of the genre at the time. It hasn't aged quite as well as I'd hoped it would, it's still mostly great, but certain aspects are a bit... ehh. The young girls acting is a bit iffy, Jim, the bicycle courier, going all Rambo out of nowhere at the end is pretty ridiculous, and the section in the tunnels where their solution of getting around a tunnel full of broken down cars is to somehow.. drive... over all the cars? Just makes no fucking sense. But its still visually stunning and the soundtrack is perfection. The opening scenes in abandoned London are beautiful too. Shame the sequel was a load of Hollywood shite.
Right, I'm off to bed! Take care everyone, and just bleed responsibly
