STATUS UPDATE WITH THE BOYSSSSS!

So I've been working flat out on the latest video full time for the last week or so, and have made a decent amount of progress.  It kinda felt like i was getting nowhere for a while, like every time I opened it up I was somehow always stuck on the 20 minute mark, but I'm happy to report I just passed the 40th minute. I even did a test upload to youtube, and, HOLY SHIT, it passed all copyright checks!! This might be the first video I ever do that doesn't get region blocked in Brazil!! 

Although it looks like my ambition kinda ran away with me when i was planning this one and have to reign it in a bit. Initially, this was gonna be about 2 things, CM Punk doing MMA, and that one time the WWE tried to do a real fighting tournament, the Brawl For all. However as I wrote the intro, it evolved into a story itself, and now the first 20 minutes or so is literally WWE talk, and then we get to CM Punk. I'm still not even finished with Punk, and at 40 minutes with still easily another 10 or so to go before we get to the end of Punks story, if I throw the brawl for all in there too I'm looking at another 3 or 4 weeks of work, and i don't want to keep people waiting that long, and don't want to risk just losing focus and half assing it. So the Brawl For All has to go on the back burner for a while. But don't worry, its sitting there alongside Frank Dux as topics for standalone videos for the future!

I'm kicking off a few days away from my 9-5 tomorrow too, which I intend to use to finish the script, and definitely not spend all my time playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge 

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this one, even tho It's not like there's any big shocking revelations people familiar with the CM story wont already know, but it was fun to make, and there IS that Seagal Dubstep track, and for better or worse you wont get that shit in ANY other videos on youtube.. 😆

Coming to a Paris fashion show near you! If you live in Paris! So yeah on top of the video, this last week I was working on getting my t-shirt design finished and this is another thing I'm stupidly proud of. I went full fashion designer with this one. Commercially licensed fonts, artwork by an actual artist instead of me just trying my best with photoshop... really no expense spared on this one lads 😆 

So, the reasoning behind making the shirts was that i got an actual sponsorship offer from someone representing Draftkings (they even spelled my name right in the email this time!!), but after considering it for a while, I felt it would be shitty to take a sponsorship. The only people who helped build this channel are me, and you guys, not some dickhead marketer. I honestly feel like someone worming their way into sponsoring me at this stage, is like someone joining a marathon 10 feet before the finish line and acting like they ran the whole thing. They weren't down since day one! They don't remember the time i recorded vocals into a mic that was back to front!! But YOU guys do!! 😆

So instead of trying to sell NordVPN or some other horseshit every other youtuber is flogging, i thought, I'll make some merchandise, so that way:

1) I can earn a little extra from selling something actually channel related, that took time and effort to create, and actually puts something tangible into supporters hands rather than taking money from a faceless marketer and all you get in return is a segment of the video you'll never watch

2) I don't have to grit my teeth through some script about how Raid Shadow Legends is the GREATEST mobile game (fucking misnomer right there as we all know all mobile games are terrible) or Manscaped gives you the smoothest balls or whatever. I couldn't read one of those segments without feeling the ghost of Kurt Cobain hovering over my shoulder calling me a corporate sellout 😂

So yeah this is a long winded way of saying, the video will likely be done within the next 2 weeks or so!! I hope you guys enjoy it. 

Oh and apologies if it seemed like I'm spamming you with uploads of the Pride Supercut. It got taken down a second time, and i had to re-upload it with help from fellow YT'er Mixed Marital Academic making some sneaky copyright avoiding edits for me. But i know it's probably a bummer to get a notification about a new video, only to see its the same video for a 3rd time.. 😒
