I bounce back and forth between my art program and z-anatomy .com and i try to learn muscles i don't know, and hide muscles that obscure the ones I'm trying to learn
here you can see that the gluteus maximus inserts into the iliotibial band, and the gluteus medius is under the iliotibial band, which inserts into the greater trochanter
you can also see the biceps femoris, semitendinosis, semimembranosis, adductor magnus, and gracilis
the back muscles are a little less developed but they were not the focus of this anatomical study. regardless on the right side you can see the scapula, the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and teres major. Between the teres minor and teres major, the long head of the tricep originates from here and goes all the way down to the elbow
