It's been radio silence up in this Patreon for too long, but you guys stuck it out and I have some news that should put a smile on your face. I have been working on a mock-up book/binder (pictured above), that when I am done will have all the pages for Venture Cats book 1. The script for book 1 is completely finished, and this is the visualization step just before I work on the final page art. I just hit page 60 in this rough layout stage and that puts me at about halfway done (this is a rough page estimate), which gives me enough of a buffer that I'm ready to start sharing chunks of it with you guys!
So, starting this Friday, I will be posting WEEKLY UPDATES FOR PATRONS ONLY with multiple roughed out pages of VENTURE CATS - Book 1! These pages will be shown in order, and will have filled in word balloons, so you can read along with each update and see the story unfold! I will also post any changes I make to pages down the line, and show you when I move on to the next stages for each page so you can see each subsequent step down the line!
Now, I have to warn ya, my handwriting has been known to be rather hard to read.... especially for my wife. BUT, I think I have you covered! I'll just transcribe the dialogue into the post, so you can read along, instead of squinting at my chicken scratch! That should cover anyone who is questioning my lack of penmanship :P
So, look out this Friday for the start of the adventure!!!! I'm so damn excited! I hope you are too!
