Safe travels. A heads up. I emailed you a photo of the Manjiro plaque that is displayed in Kochi across from the castle. (used the blu-ray email.). Feel free to use it in your video or livestream at the John Manjiro Festival. Interestingly they use his Japanese name of Nakahama rather than John. It includes his photo. Manjiro is one of 18 notable Kochi citizens so honored with plaques. The English portion includes where he was born, his 1841 rescue by the American whaling ship, His 1852 return to Kochi and position as a Shoguate Retainer, his 1860 return to USA as a member of Kanrinmaru (ship) in Manen 1 and his death in 1898 at age 72.
