Reminds me of a french village where German SS massacred the whole villagers and destroyed everything. After the war the french decided to leave the village as it is. So people can see and learn about it. That village still exist today. Can be seen from google map.

Fascinating and interesting to here contextual stories of what happened to people and how the events of WWII impacted ordinary citizens and their feelings and sentiments towards the leaders and authorities afterwards. This is a deep topic and like other Asian nations, the culture does not focus and talk about the immense suffering experienced, mostly just stay quiet or subdued. Great to listen to you and hope you cover more aspects and dimensions of this issue in future livestreams.
