Any ideas if tourist visas granted for this suspended period (i.e. valid for entry during the lockdown period). would be extended given those who got them couldn't travel at this time?

2020-05-12 02:52:01 +0000 UTCI think there'll be a few major reopening milestones that need to be asked.. 1) When will Japan open up to domestic travel such as lockdown ending in Tokyo/Osaka 2) When will Japan open up to International incoming travellers, from what countries, and will there be a quarantine period (and where will that quarantine be served)? Based on talk in Australia we'll be closed to all incoming internationals until at least end of 2020 apart from NZ (more than likely).... That's based on our numbers.... Japan is slightly behind Australia in numbers and then other countries even further behind, so I can't actually see a time when Australia will accept people from USA or UK etc.... situation is certainly fluid & definitely dependant on new treatments, cures & vaccines.... Sorry for the ramble... lol

2020-05-12 01:44:30 +0000 UTCAustralia is opening back up again this Friday but there's something limitations, e.g no more then 10 people at a time dinning in (depending on the size I guess), is there any restaurants you looking forward to getting food from? Mine is some Belles Hot Chicken or something similar. And what food you enjoyed cooking? Me and my mum made some homemade sausages, I think we made about 20kg worth of sausage

My question is how do the Japanese feel about opening up soon, are they really afraid and may keep everything shut down for too long or do some feel like japan needs to open back up cautiously soon. Thank you
