It was a fun story, thanks for sharing! I love that era of Paul, even if my favorite album with Linda is Ram. My first ever concert was Bryan Adam's.. so.. you win hands down, especially considering that you paid 28 bucks 😀 my second and third were a Pearl Jam and then a Paul McCartney concerts (the latter 2 were totally positively shocking for the 13 years old me)

Wow, you are quite the collector. Good concert. I think I saw Paul Mc Cartney on that same tour. My first concert was in the summer of 1968, between my 8th and 9th grade years. At the time my dad had a small ,one man advertising company and did a lot of ads on the local rock and roll station. He came home one day and asked me if I new a band called The Doors. I said uh ya, and he said I have 2 tickets to their concert this Friday, would you like to go ? I said uh ya. They were probably the hottest band at that time and had a new single out called "Hello I Love You". My best friend Hank and I went together and they kind of blew our little 14 year old small town boys minds. The lights went down and the red curtain started to slowly go up to reveal Jim Morrison holding on to the curtain, lifting him up a couple of feet. He let go, stumbled to the mike, let out a loud belch and launched into "Break on Through".That was the first of several free tickets he got us. The second of which was Jimmy Hendrix.
