First time listening to them. I had never heard of them before. I listened to the album last night a couple of times and early this morning. Some of the songs really reminded me of the vibe of probably Belle And Sebastian's most underrated album 'Girls In Peacetime want to dance'... just for the dance grooves and the production in general. Also Prefab Sprout and Tame Impala (especially the last album) here and there.. Artefact is sort of a The Strokes song with only more aggressive synths?! Cd that I liked quite a bit, at times extremely catchy (in a very good way), at other times it seemed to me without enough variety of artistic ideas... but it definitely runs well from start to finish. Very curious to hear your opinion on it, and I'm very happy to be a new subscriber! Cheers from Italy!
