It’s a good thing, people staying home, staying healthy, letting those infected know without infecting others.

It does seem surreal, esp seeing images of hazmat people spraying cities and not actually seeing them anywhere here. I hope 🤞 this all gets better soon,

Yes, that would have been hard one ☝️ 😂 but I would just adjust :)

I don’t know 🤷🏻♂️ the water is quite hot so I don’t think it survives well. The mineral content is also quite high and not good for viruses. As a non-scientist, my answer is “dunno” but I never got sick from them in 20 years.

Thanks for doing this video, it's unique getting a perspective from Japan on the situation. It was a little heartbreaking to see Tokyo Station so empty, but really inspiring to see Japan to come together so quickly.

Thank you for the updates! This is so surreal but your live spots offset all the conjecture! Be safe!

Thanks for keeping us up to date, John! I was literally inside Tokyo Station but I wasn’t gonna bother you during such a serious topic ;)

Might be a silly question, but do you think Onsens are still safe or should we avoid them during our visit?

Hi John, any concerns of traveling to Japan during the Sakura season? Especially around tourist crowded areas such as Kyoto, etc. Additionally, has Japan barred any incoming flights from China yet to try and contained the virus spreading? Thanks!

Hi John, thank you for answering questions as always. How are the locals reacting to foreigners in Japan now? I’m heading there on a car trip with my friends in mid-march. Driving down to Kyushu from Haneda Airport through Mie and Shikoku. We are Singaporeans, Chinese in ethnicity, do you think the locals will freak out if we enter their restaurants or store?

Hi John! We have hotel reservations and flight tickets for Hokkaido in mid May. I guess we can wait it out a little longer before canceling don't you think?

If I’m flying out in September would it be reasonable to still go?
