Let's go to Ginza!
Added 2017-08-27 23:20:45 +0000 UTCOn the weekend, this area turns into a wonderful pedestrian area where you can walk the streets with no traffic, even lounge on free chairs under an umbrella in the middle of Chuo Avenue! I did a live stream walking from the new GINZA SIX mall to the Apple Store and then Yurakucho. Good tour but there's still some more to explore here! I'll have to bring my friend Jennifer here for some golden ice cream!

The waffle place Manneken must be from Belgium. Manneken means little man ( or child), and is referring to the statue in Brussels : Manneken Pis. Brussels was under siege by a foreign power. The city had held its ground for some time, so the attackers conceived of a plan to place explosive charges at the city walls. A little boy named Julianske happened to be spying on them as they were preparing. He urinated ( = Pis) on the burning fuse and thus saved the city. Greetings from a Belgian living in Ireland.
