The omnitrix apparently tries to pick the best alien for the situation at hand, sometimes it's clearly for comedic effect other times it's better than what Ben wanted, Cause ben doesn't know EVERY ability of the species most of the time, like he use's his electrical aliens as if they only shoot Electricity when some can become it, absorb it etc. Him having the Predator to ball Wevil (the new alien) Was deadass luck idc. W season 1!!
