nayoung 100% was a shoo-in to be in the final lineup based on voting and just talent alone but ed is right - the whole “idk if i wanna be in a girl group” got her booted. but the thing is i cannot imagine katseye without yoonchae now and if nayoung had made it, yoonchae wouldn’t have. to me the katseye lineup turned out to be magic in a bottle. they are 6 superstars.

2025-06-15 06:56:50 +0000 UTCyay glad you guys watched this! the order the videos played in was my least fave to most fave performance.. - wannabe was so damn good they def felt the most like a group, even son said he’d have debuted them like that in the ep 😭 - confident team was top tier, all of them did great. lara and megan stood out to me as always but so did marquise and yoonchae!! they shined too! esp yoonchae bc she didn’t have as much time to practice with them due to school - buttons was good but didn’t feel as cohesive? everyone stood out at some point but it def felt more like a bunch of solo artists doing a collaborative performance together rather than a fully formed group but nice to see how sophia pulled through in the end (sophia’s intro choreo and nayoung’s vocals for me were the highlights of the performance)
