What takes so long?

In one of the last posts, we have announced a possible delay caused by back-end complications. I have seen our Community is getting worried or impatient, that's why we wanted to explain everything in this post.
The networking system we have been using since the game was released is called uNet. This system is obsolete and no longer supported. Our development team has spotted multiple vulnerabilities, that couldn't be fixed, because it's a closed source solution.
We have decided to change our networking system to a more stable and reliable one. This process took a while, which has delayed our release date for a month. After the first tests, it turned out everything worked well. Unfortunately the system was very unstable and behaved differently on different test environments.
The last month has been entirely dedicated to multiple tries of fixes. After many failures, we have updated the game's engine and tried to implement this networking system over again, with a different connection management system.
This combination worked almost perfectly and we're now experiencing only one issue. We are trying to debug it with the networking system's creators, but it's hard to tell how quickly it can be fixed.
Until then, all money saved will be designed for further bigger projects. Thank you for your trust.

We've only got one of them and the rest was uncalled for. This is taking so long because the network is obsolete and they have to make adjustments. Exuse me for my drama
