2025-08-13 22:49:26 +0000 UTCI don't know all the people in the video. This instrumentation is different than the album version which is piano, bass, electric guitar and drums. As far as I know, when they tour it's just the trio of vocalist/songwriters- Zach (lead), Brian, and Kanene- and Kanene's husband on keys and bass, and a drummer. I saw them in 2016 and they were amazing. Towards the end of the show they left the stage and came down the main aisle with their guitars and played a few songs.

2025-08-13 17:50:47 +0000 UTCPedal steel and lap steel are the same in principle, but different construction. Pedal steel sits on a stand. Most often they will have 8 strings, but they also come in 10 or 12. It also has pedals like a piano...I believe one is for volume/sustain, and the other is for pitch alteration and can be customized for certain strings. Sometimes you will see a "double neck" pedal steel- for the option of different tunings.
