Added 2025-07-27 15:00:22 +0000 UTCThis band deserves more attention. I understand they aren't making albums anymore, but there is some pretty lovely musical ideas happening in their music. This song uses the minor key to highlight the lyrics and the circling idea of death.
I also just looked up what "In Avernus" means. It can mean "the underworld."

2025-09-07 08:08:24 +0000 UTCNever would have thought I would get to witness NittPicc listening to more Nothingface! Nice to have someone else I can geek out about this band with. You can see why they weren't popular because their music can be challenging, but they were growing into such an interesting band just as they called it quits. It's so sad. How they manage to get that bridge to sound so sweet and hopeful over the top of nothing but dissonant chords is beyond me.
