Upcoming subscription billing

Hello everyone, I recently got word that Patreon will be discontinuing per-creation billing which is what we're running on here. This change is apparently happening this November but I can delay it until November of 2025. However if I delay it then no new members can join through the iOS app which could be problematic.

Also with this change, anyone who joins through the iOS app will be charged more to cover for the cost hike invoked by Apple. This price increase does NOT affect current members.

With that said, I guess I'll have to come up with a new system. Tip posts will be a thing of the past and I'll just have to change the cost of each tier. I'll see if tokens can still be a thing with the new system to still allow people to get older rewards.

I never wanted to do subscription billing on here due to my unstable work flow. Some months I'm active, some months I'm straight dead lol. This, of course, could be remedied by being more active and with a steady work flow. Also the per-creation billing method gave you guys freedom to see if you wanted to pay for everything I made that month, with the subscription method you'll only pay once but there might be drawings you don't like that will be included in the subscription price.

The one thing I'm mostly concerned about is how I'm going to keep track of everyone's rewards and tokens when applicable. The subscription billing method is based on when you signed up, not on the first of every month like it is now. This means I'll have to start looking at the member list every day to see if a payment went through to send their rewards (not optimal), or leave it up you guys and have you message me to get your rewards (annoying for the consumer), or post the rewards directly on here with a link making this susceptible to fake DMCA takedowns and getting things leaked to sites like Kemono, also notifying you guys of your tokens would still be a problem with this method.

Anyways, this change is not happening yet and idk how long I'll delay it for but I'll make sure to let you guys know when the gears start moving.
