The Incredible Growth Spurt - A Blender Animation
Added 2023-05-29 14:02:00 +0000 UTCIt certainly took a bit longer than I would have liked to complete this animation, but I am definitely glad I took a detour from The Chamber of Absorption and started working this short animation instead!
I have learnt so much from this little short, 2 minute long animation, from sculpting body deformation for clothes tightening during growth, to handling a dark environment with lighting, to playing with close facial shots, flash lights and smoke, to completely color grading the entire video in Davinci's Resolve, it has certainly been a journey and here is what I have for you all:

Next up, I will take a quick week break before getting back into The Chamber of Absorption, and we have a lot of work ahead of us as we step into the part where I have to tackle shrinking out of clothes, as well as growing out of armor! We will have a bit more WIP videos for you all in June and hopefully it can be completed by July!
Apart from that, I am thinking of releasing another poll next week to list you guys a few short animations I have queued up on my list, and I will do the one you guys choose next!
