Japan Report 08 - We went to an Onsen!
Added 2024-12-24 20:19:54 +0000 UTCWe went to an Onsen! All the girls in the lab wanted the experience of going to an authentic Japanese hot spring. Access didn’t want to go because he found out that they don't have mixed baths (Access Hentai! Baka!) There are several Onsen at moderate prices all throughout Tokyo, but I insisted on going to one with a little more flash and tradition. The tickets were triple the normal price but trust me, it was well worth it. Luckily the Japanese are more open to mutants, more than they are to tattoos and luckily none of us had any. In fact, at the Onsen we visited we found a surprise: A beautiful Kappa girl that was enjoying the hot water. For those who don't know, Kappas are mythological beings in Japanese culture. They are water spirits usually with amphibian traits and are known for the bowl of water that rests in their head. This girl named Ren was the spitting image of a kappa, though she likely won’t be playing any magical tricks or granting any wishes anytime soon. She was, however, very pretty and also very curious about our mutations.
