Halloween Night - Prelude

It was the middle of Halloween Eve and Port Solei was boiling with the enthusiasm of costumes and parties and hundreds of people in the streets were joining the massive celebrations that the city offered. Gaby, Brittany, Caty and Pixie returned from a party at almost midnight. Gaby was dressed as “Power”, the ChainsawMan character. On the other hand, Brittany was disguised as a cyborg, in the purest Cyberpunk Edgerunner style. Meanwhile, Caty had an Ankha costume from Animal Crossing. Finally, Pixie opted for a classic, with a perfect TinkerBell costume. The girls were heading to Britt and Caty's house, where they had changed into their costumes. “I'm dissapointed with this party ending before 12...” Caty protested as they walked back. “We are still students. All-night parties are for adults and they're expensive,” Brittany replied. "That's true. Although I would have liked to continue celebrating a little longer,” Gaby said. “I KNOOOOW!” Caty said, jumping up and standing in front of the girls, “Let's have a sleepover! We don't have classes tomorrow anyways... let's take advantage of that for having some more fun” “That… that sounds like fun!” Pixie said, hovering around her friends. “I have to admit it's not a bad idea but... we haven't asked permission for bringing people for a sleepover,” Britt said. "Is fineee... we are just four and mom love you girls, she will don't mind” said Caty “I would love that,” said Gaby enthusiastically, “Going there and spending the night talking and telling horror stories sounds super fun” “Decided then! We will have a sleepover,” Caty said, jumping excitedly. A while later the girls arrived at Britt and Caty's house. They were greeted by her mother, who was still awake and had prepared some sandwiches for them. The girls loosened their clothes a little and removed their wigs and accessories. “The only problem with this sleepover is that neither Pixie nor I brought pajamas,” Gaby said, laughing. “I could lend you a nightgown, but I don't think I have anything in Pixie's size,” Brittany said. “A small handkerchief or scarf is enough for me,” said the little fairy as she took off her makeup in front of Britt's hand mirror. After a while, the four girls were already sitting on Britt's bed. They talked about school, boys, anime, etc., while they ate and drank some soda. When the food was finished, Caty turned off the light and turned on a flashlight. “It's time for horror stories!” she said, trying to sound terrifying as she lit up her face in a gloomy way. “Ok, so each one tells a story?” Britt asked. "Yeah! And whoever tells the most disturbing story will win,” Caty said. “What's the prize?” asked Pixie. “…well, I don't know... I will figure out something,” Caty answered. “Sounds good to me,” Gaby said, “Then I'll start…”
