The Ogre 14

Holly was happy. Very happy. Going to the club lifted her spirits and, frankly, it was strange, and fascinating, and terrifying. Maybe it was the wine. Maybe it was the dopamine. Honestly, for the first time since she came here I felt like I wasn’t sharing a house with a monster. Just a person. “That was great!” she said. “I can’t believe I got to go back! It was better than I expected!” she said enthusiastically before flopping on the couch. I, on the other hand, was thumbing through my wallet. We had spent a lot but there was enough to last us until my father got back. I went to the kitchen and poured a big glass of juice for me and Holly. She downed hers in one go. “Keep hydrated and you’ll avoid a hangover *hic*” she said, still feeling the wine. “Heh, yeah. You know… you’re a great singer,” I said sheepishly. “Yeah, it’s not that hard. It’s one of my many… many hidden talents,” she said, turning on the TV like she was in her own home. “I’ll say. You looked like a professional up on that stage,” I replied. “More than you’d expect from the monster girl in class, right?” she says with a smirk. “Yeah maybe for everyone else, but for me you convinced me how amazing you were a long time ago, about the three hundredth kick to my gut I’d say,” I said laughing at my own joke. “I was surprised but I wouldn’t call it unexpected. You are an artist, both with fighting and song.” Holly actually blushed a little. Another unexpected feat. “Well, you didn’t do so bad yourself, worm. You actually almost passed for a man… a skinny, weedy, malnourished man that drinks grape juice.” She too laughed at her own joke. She found it a fair bit more funny than I found mine. “I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to alcohol,” I said rubbing my head. “But hey, we can always go back, once I get my allowance, if you want to.” I offered without even thinking. I wasn’t even sure I would have the money. She looked down at me and smiled. “You already said it, you can’t take it back! Still, you’ll have to start getting used to the heavier stuff. How long until you turn 18?” “Three weeks,” I said. “BAHAHAHAHHA Oh my god! You are turning 18 in three weeks and you got tripped up by a sip of wine!!! What a loser!!!” “Very funny, very funny. Look, I’ll ‘practice’ holding my booze in a couple weeks OK? When is your birthday?” She looked at me at first with a face that said ‘none of your business’ but very quickly reconsidered. “I’ll tell you, but only so you can get me a present alright. It’s in a month. Exactly one months.” “Means we are the same zodiac sign,” I said with more enthusiasm than I really wanted to. Holly gave me a look that said ‘you are really pathetic…’ “Not a big fan of Astrology?” I asked. She sighed and rolled her eyes. “Aaaaanyway you are going to be an adult now which means you are going to have to get some adult clothes. You looked… acceptable today, but you can’t steal your Dad’s clothes all the time, and you can’t wear that nerdy junk all the time either.” “W-well, what clothes do you find attractive?” I asked innocently. “Pfffft!” she said, barely holding her laughs in. “OK, think of strong men. Like big beefy ones with a lumberjack beard. Just think of them, and think of what they wear inside.” She started cracking up. This time it was definitely the wine. “OK… well it’s late and we should probably get to bed,” I said having enough of the mocking. “Ooooooh, are you inviting me to go to bed with you, you cheeky little insect?” Holly laughed and sneered at the same time. “What!? NO! You know the deal, you in my room and me in my fathers room.” That had to be the wine… right? We went upstairs to the second floor, she stopped at my room… I guess HER room now, and I stopped at my Dads. Though before I went in, I felt a powerful hand land on my shoulder. “Hey…” she said leaning on the door for support, the drunken rouge still in her cheeks. “I want to say thank you for today. After what happened at my mom’s house, I needed a good time, and you gave me that good time. So thank you.” “You’re welcome Holly,” I said with a small smile. “But thank you as well. I saw a whole different world today. It was eye opening,” I laughed to myself. “I also thought I had no choice. You’d probably have forced me to take you anyway!” “What sort of lady do you think I am!?” she said faking anger. “But no really, that was plan B. Glad I didn’t have to hit you.” She said snickering to herself. Her face softened. “Actually, thanks for being my pet… I mean… thanks for being my friend. I’m not a very friendly person… in general… and you are kind of the closest thing I have to someone I… I don’t know… really care about. So thanks for that. I appreciate it.” “Wow, that… that flatters me,” I said. I was probably blushing. She smiled and stepped back a few stepped back a bit before dropping her dress and showing her four bare breasts. My eyes nearly popped out of her sockets. Before I knew it, she pulled her dress up again. “Call this gratitude,” Holly said. “A nerd like you won’t get many opportunities to see babies like these,” she said cupping her breasts and winking. I wanted to say something… anything witty… but instead the sheer conflicting torrent of conflicting feelings from arousal to fear got my blood pressure too high and… I passed out. I woke up hours later on my father’s bed, trying to figure out what happened. Was it all a dream? Whatever it was, it was etched into my mind forever.
