Created by Leena (@MyLifeIsARPG) Hey there! My name is Gillian and I’m a bit of a unique mutant. Have you heard the stories about the 50 foot tall Kaiju girl? Well, yeah. That’s me! I mean, the name is a bit inaccurate. I can’t like, breathe nuclear breath or anything. I’m just your pretty standard three headed, long necked, winged, multi-armed, multi-breasted lizard girl… just… big. I guess people said I looked pretty similar to King Ghidorah? Here’s a dirty little secret… for being the local Kaiju girl I don’t actually watch giant monster movies all that much. Mutant Monthly wanted to do a short piece on me to figure out what my life is like. After all, giant mutants are pretty rare. I will admit, my life is a bit different from your run of the mill mutant girls. First of all, I have to live in a special community. It’s built specifically for mutants like me, that is to say, mutants of abnormal size. There are a lot of us so called “Kaiju Girls” here, and it was very nice for the port solei government to provide for us. Here we live in small houses. Well, relatively small. In actuality they are quite big, some of the largest structures in the city. It’s just that they are very expensive to make so they have comparatively small size to our bodies. The biggest are only one bedrooms and most are just studio apartments. Our physical needs are kind of hard to keep up with. We eat… a lot, which again gets quite expensive. If it weren’t for generous government grants I don’t know where I’d be. We also sleep a lot. All this mass takes a lot of rest. We make sure to work out fairly often. Bodies this size can fall into atrophy easily. Get too weak and you can’t even move your own muscles! But other than that we live fairly normal lives, well as normal as we can. Our community is built to basically simulate life on our scale. There are some problems though. Like… er… romance. Making out is good and all but if things get a bit too rough… well. Let’s just say some of the earthquakes you have felt may have been some of my friends getting a little naughty, if you know what I mean. Romance in general is a bit rough. Like I said before, there aren’t a whole lot of mutants our size so the dating pool is very small. Sure, you can try to date a mutant of normal size. There’s even some really neat little bedroom experiments you can do with them. But relationships rarely last. The size difference is just too big a hurdle. Kaiju Girls earn our living though. Many of us go into construction and other major labor practices. Ever wonder how Port Solei builds those artificial islands? Usually that’s left up to us. We can move huge portions of land with very little effort. Of course, some girls prefer spectacle. You know the Kaiju Wrestling Federation? Yep, established right here in Port Solei. The biggest monster girls head out to sea, well away from civilization, and fight in front of a ton of camera drones. It’s one of the most watched events on our networks. You can imagine why. I think the hardest thing about being a Kaiju Girl is the initial mutation. Most mutations to size take a very very long time, just because they have to build up so much energy. For months you’ll find yourself outgrowing everything you own and everything you know. You’ll replace your wardrobe every couple of days, have to get shipped around from hospital to hospital as different doctors look after you. It’s just a rough time. But once you are done mutating, I have to admit its kind of fun. Just being able to stand up and look far off into the horizon, seeing all the cities of the world underneath my feet, it’s a bit of a power trip. You get to see sunsets like no other mutant does. Sometimes it feels like you can touch the stars. Anyway that’s just a brief look into my life. If you want to learn more about us Kaiju, come on down to the community. We will definitely show you a good time.
