i really liked the veigar sketch in the first image, and wanted to turn it into its own traditional drawing, but recreating it by eye was really annoying and the sketch is too small to just trace over - so i did the most logical thing - draw it digitally. just kidding. i printed it out on a sheet of paper so that the size matches up with the a5 piece of paper i wanted to draw it on, and used my light table to trace over the sketch!
a bit of a hassle for anything that is connected to a sketchbook (the light tablet doesn't fit very comfortably in a sketchbook) but it looks good so far! you might know it's veigars anniversary, um, tomorrow, so maybe i will be able to get this done by then. maybe not. i thought it would be fitting to make a redraw of a really old veigar drawing i did (possibly one of my first veigar drawings ever, even before i started going insane about him! just a one off drawing) for his anniversary. this is the drawing:
