1. Where can I get the drivers after purchasing them?

3. How do I get the drivers with a one time purchase instead of a subscription?
Purchase the subscription, then purchase and register the drivers. Once registered, you can cancel the subscription.

4. Help, I purchased the wrong license on Patreon!
Don't worry. The License portal will only see the Cash Balance from Patreon, so grab the correct one from the portal. Alternatively, you can switch tier on Patreon to only charge the difference before you go to the portal

5. Help, I purchased the wrong license on the driver portal!
Don't register the license on the portal. Send an email to coolstarcbooks@gmail.com and mention that you purchased the wrong license. It will be refunded to cash balance on the portal so you can get the correct one.


6. Help, I replaced my SSD and the driver no longer works!
Generate a new unsigned license and send an email to coolstarcbooks@gmail.com with the new unsigned license and mention your situation. Note that resets are limited per account.

7. Can I send a message here on Patreon?
It is recommended to send an email, as that will be easier to manage and will be faster. It used to be faster to use patreon messages, however, from now on emails will be faster.

8. Can I ask for support on the chrultrabook forum?
The forum is run by other volunteers who will be able to help with installation issues. However for account issues, please send an email.

9. What about Intel 14th gen or my shiny new <insert chromebook released after May 2024>?
Unfortunately, those drivers will likely not be coming from CoolStar for a while. Source code has been provided to some others in case they are able to support them. However, it's unknown how support on those will be.

10. What will happen to my existing support request from before May 6th, 2024?
Send an email to coolstarcbooks@gmail.com and provide the context. A new person will be handling support requests there.
