You may have noticed our page want offline for 2 weeks. With the announcement: " this page is under review"
We got an DMCA and Patreon demanded the remove some (all) of the old post on which we had a claim. (They don't want any trouble with GW)
This included work in progress updates as well as complete products.
fighting this is very time consuming and expensive, I decided not to do so.
Store items are not impacted and Patron don't really care about old posts, (I think)
It is common for a third party to claim IP on behave of Games Workshop for they get paid for every takedown, It’s very likely for “claimant” to be such a third party and is indiscriminate when claiming pages and IP.
That's probably also the reason they claimed posts on Patreon instead of the complete page. (Every link is cash)
They tend to do blanket bans on all contents, Whitout even referencing to their products to back up their claims, Which is also against the requirement of the DMCA,
It's a tactic to bully other company in submission. So to be blunt. GW literally has a bounty on every model maker.
Anyway....I had a nice break and I'm starting up again....A poll for next models will be made today and the release code for our Stern nun and Stalker will be send.
Future posts will be Patron only to prevent this kind of stuff in the future,
