The first chapter in a new 4 chapter story by curious4ever.
Little James finds a wishing stone and wishes for a puppy. His wish is granted, though different from how he expected it.

There are so many things to love about this post. The first thing that really stands out for me is the fantastic illustration. The image of James holding the blue stone is so great. And then there is the story. What 7 year old wouldn't love to find a mysterious glowing stone that may grant wishes. And having a language barrier between James and the stone is a nice touch. And not only is James not happy about being a girl, but I like the subtle way that James starts to be referred to as she and her. I can't wait for next week to see the next illustration and read the next part of the story. I can only assume that James transforms even further into a cute doggy.

I will mention a few of the things i noticed while reading down there: - So, lil James has a rock collection? It's a really nice detail because it tells us more of his passions and hobbies. Is this consistent with the James in the Lost Kids universe? - Wishy rocks from outer space, woohoooo! It seemed to me that the rock was genuinly try to make James wish come true and it didn't understand properly. I wonder if this stone is part of a bigger asteroid, and if bigger chunks of it have bigger powers. What are them? Why they're falling on our planet? Are they connected with the space doggy planet, or that is just a dream? Sorry, i'm just a huge nerd about these things! - I love how the first sign of the changes is James wanting to scare away a cat, and the whole idea of having the dog inside himself, waiting to come out. It's slightly different compared to the usual TFs we see around the web, something symbiontic, but without the gooey aspect of it, more mental! Also, plus for making difficult for him to read, the psychological transformation is important as the physical one here, and i love the fact that he cannot remember how a word works because of him becoming a dog! - It's always funny to see how James tries to fight the fact that he has become a girl!
