Because of the simple composition and instrumentation, this was fairly easy to arrange in Pico-8. One of the constraints that Pico-8 imposes on composers is tempo within an SFX. If you listen to the original, the tempo from note to note often fluctuates, ebbing and flowing every phrase. This is characteristic of most classical music, and Pico-8 doesn't do this well.

The only way to do this is to compose at a very high resolution, so every couple notes use an entire SFX at very low SPD values (01-04). I've done this a few times in Pico-8, but it's incredibly time consuming. It would also require about eight carts! Anyone up for the challenge? ;)
