December Update and future stories.

Happy Holidays and (late) Season Greetings!

Sorry for the silence for past couple weeks. Been meaning to update for a while now, but hadn’t had the time, energy or mental state to do so. I’ve been unbelievably busy this past month since Thanksgiving. Family, holidays, work and going to (new) cancer appointments for my husband with his treatments for end of the year checkups and evaluations for next year. Fun times. This has taken up most of my mental space this entire month and haven’t had the energy to sit down and write unfortunately because of this. That's the main reason why there hasn't been any new updates, yet.

I’ve done a lot this year alone, however, and don’t plan on stopping that momentum next year! Just needed a couple weeks these past few months mixed up to get things in order. Taking a sort of vacation for my brain.

With all that said, let’s get to what’s planned for this coming year. 2025!

I plan to continue Snow Dawgs like I do some other series. Updating it when the mood strikes me and when the ideas hit. This same style of updates will be the same for several other current and random stories that’ll I’ll trickle out throughout next year. They’ll update when they update. I don’t want to rush them, just enjoy them when I write them so they’re just fun easy reads.

I’ll be posting a new poll soon with the next major series I’ll be working on! I hope you look forward to that and curious to see what is chosen this time from the list.

I want to focus on new, future stories instead of the older stuff as I felt I primarily focused on this past year. It takes a lot of time to edit, rewrite and rework older stories. Frankly? It’s not worth that effort and time. It’s time and effort that would just be better used for newer material rather than trying to “Remaster” older stuff.

I still wanted to finish Stars even though it was an older story and glad I did so. I rather rework older stories into new, better things than rewriting and editing old stuff. It just didn’t go as well as I’d hoped it would. Lesson learned.  

Funnily enough, with that said, I still plan to turn Dirty Laundry into a book. I know, I know, it’s an older story but I’d still like to do that for the last old piece update. As well as work on a very old series from when I first began SF. I think it was called yiffstar back then, though. However, I plan to rewrite this from scratch instead of trying to find where it was. It won’t be prioritized but something I do later down the road.

That’s about it for the update and this past year. Dealing with my husband’s cancer treatments, working full time and trying to do my best to write stories in the free time I have. Hopefully next year is easier.
