The Regular Haunts (Drag Racing Short!)
Added 2020-05-15 14:49:42 +0000 UTCI've been working on a 12 page comic over the past few months for a mentorship with Ngozi Ukazu. (She wrote Check, Please!) It's a short story with the cast and world of a comic pitch I'm developing. Basically, the main characters are a ghost-hunting club led by one real spirit medium.
I'm almost done with it, so I figured I'd post the process work here!
To start off, here are the character designs, concepts, and thumbnails!
I certainly drew my fair share of cars in this one! I guess that's to be expected when your characters are racing.
Time for the ghost car! How spooky!
I'm not crazy about drawing cityscapes or cars, so this project was a challenge! I think I improved a lot, though!
And last but not least, here are the thumbnails!
