i'm like a year late to this video, but if you're ever back in mtl there's also a lot of great crusty old science fiction books down at phoenix books in ndg. there's a change in administration soon, so i have no idea if they'll keep the collection, but it would be a waste if they didn't. they also a have a bunch almost next door at encore

I had this book called Maze (by Christopher Manson) as a kid where you navigated the numbered rooms of a beautifully illustrated house with a story on the left page. It was also impossible, I charted this out as a kid. I eventually found a solution on the internet and I'm not going to spoil it, but it requires you to think way outside the box in a way that's unfair to the 7-12 year old target audience
