how are you? i am well! i'm currently looking out my window at a very cool yellow-to-blue post-sunset LA sky. jesse is cooking salmon, aya is fast asleep one room over, and i just heard a somewhat suspicious noise in the backyard. (probably a mouse but possibly the bobcat that walked through last week?!) my brain is a bit overwhelmed as i've been slowly returning more and more to music and work and non-baby things, but i'm holding it (mildly) together, thanks in part to a very functional partner (thanks jesse!) and choosing to delete the instagram app off my phone last week! not sure what my plan is there, but it's helped to not have that temptation when my brain is seeking a dopamine hit. anyway. not sure why this paragraph needed to happen, but there it is.
our july coffee date is in the books! join me next wednesday, july 20th for a little kg records fam hang time :) so very looking forward to being with you all.
