iPhone Demo! "Frontlines" (Patron-Only)
Added 2020-03-01 03:37:08 +0000 UTCho hey, kg records family. i think i'm coming down with a flu perhaps, so as i'm writing this i feel a bit like i'm losing my mind. or like my brain is falling through my skull/my head is floating off my body. one of those. ANYWAY. if it gets/got weird, now you know why. just gonna let this post flow and hope you all can make some sense of it when it reaches your eyeballs.
i was digging through the vaults looking for something fun to share with you all, and i ended up going all the way back to 2015! i have done very very VERY few co-writes in my day, but a super talented and lovely internet friend from australia, jess chalker, happened to be in town and hit me up, and we decided we'd give cowriting a shot. this is the song that was born as a result of our little meeting some march afternoon five years ago! it never quite got its day in the sun (or even like a minute in the shade), but listening back on it, this song has quite a bit of heart, and i thought it at least deserved a mini life with you all. hope you enjoy "frontlines".
in other news, up until my immune system fell out from under me today, it's been an incredibly fun and productive week in the studio! after a pretty long dry spell from being pulled to create, jesse nudged me into our studio, and 5 days later i crawled out with two songs recorded, produced, and semi-mixed! they still have a ways to go before they are ready for public consumption, but they definitely got my creative juices flowing again and as soon as my head is reconnected to my body i am so excited to get back in there and back to work on more new songs :) hoorayyyy.

I highly recommend taking diluted organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar shots. It tastes terrible, but it boosts the immune system. I've been doing it for about five years and have only gotten sick once. Just brush those pretty teeth afterward because you don't want something so acidic hanging out on your teeth. :)
