Greetings! New member here! 😊I would like some guidance on tipping and understanding the bill/receipt when dining. For instance, in the US we will receive a receipt with a list of itemized items ordered then tax added (where I live 6.75%) and a subtotal. You then place your credit card down, they take it away and bring another receipt with the same info only a space for a tip. Your credit card has been pre authorizated and you can take it away now. You add the tip and then add it up manually yourself for a grand total, sign and then leave the receipt and off you go. I’ve never had anyone automatically add a tip or add anything to the bill we didn’t order in the US. In S. Africa, we had problems with this and had to watch the bill like an eagle. I did see a Prague bill online and saw a bunch of charges I did not understand. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Heather
