i've been playing this cover live for years and years and years and just recently realized i'd never released a proper recording of it--it's about time!
for some reason singing it in the studio versus in a live show setting was a whole new animal and it really gave me a run for my money! i nearly wrote the whole thing off, but my dear friend nataly happened to walk in right at that moment and said some nice encouraging things (namely that my recording wasn't the pure garbage i perceived it to be) and i so decided to stick it out and keep working at it :) thanks nataly <3
in other news, i have a suspicious little tickle in my throat so i'll be sleeping and drinking all the water and eating all the oranges for the next few days because my family and i are about to take our first family trip EVER to japan next week and i can't be sick!! send healthy vibes my way :)
