New Video: Valentine (+ 142 of YOUR Valentine's Wishes!)

Hello hello hellooo!

Happy Valentine's Day, my sweet sweet KG Records Family! I can't thank you enough for all the Valentine's Day messages you sent in. As per usual, I just couldn't bear to leave any out, so I included all the ones I couldn't fit into a little scrolly bit at the end of the video!! Reading your messages, I laughed, I cried, and most of all felt so grateful to get to be a part of all of these beautiful stories that are happening all over the world. Thank you.

Eye update! As many of you know, I had an eye surgery last week to have a thing called a pterygium removed from my eye that was giving me some pain. The last week has been a super odd one and the recovery took a bit more out of me than expected. I had 4 stitches on the surface of my eye, so it basically felt like I had 4 eyelashes stuck in my eye EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY. Needless to say, I was a bit useless as a result of that, but luckily I'd shot this video the day before I got surgery to ensure I got it done in time. The stitches came out yesterday and I am now feeling a million times better and feeling so happy to have an eye that feels moderately normal again. 

Anyway, my thoughts on Valentine's Day--Yes, it's a silly arbitrary day. Yes, card and candy companies are super cashing in on it. Yes, you should love and appreciate the people around you EVERY DAY. But, YES, I ALSO think it's a beautiful excuse to show a little extra love because why not?! Give your mom and dad a hug, tell your siblings what they mean to you, send some gratitude out to your friends, partner, pets, YOURSELF. Just do it! Life is short and there are so many ways to celebrate the love we have in our lives. Pick a flower! Eat a treat! Write yourself a love note!
