You've Got (Voice)Mail

Hey there... Just stumbled over a couple of your songs on youtube ... fell in love with your voice ... found out about that patron thing ... signed up ... BOOM, now im here. Sounds a bit creepy .... but no worries, I live on Cabo Verde at the moment. My family and friends are from Hannover and surroundings (like Johannes XD). I will follow you from here and enjoy your lovely tunes with a J, on a beach, during sunset ... I listen to nearly all types of music ... favorite band is SOAD, Gentleman and a lot of others. Hello Kina and friends, my name is Johannes and Im from Hannover, Germany. Im guessing Ive been following your youtube videos since around 2010 when the valentine video came out. Im not a person to watch superbowl, but my younger sister suggested your videos to me and I was so positively shocked by that authentic playful creativity in your videos, like your disturbia cover for example. I have been devouring pretty much any video you posted ever since. Until this year I had been hesitant to join patreon, because of the financial responsibility. Now Im about to finish my degree and your online concert gave me the slight push I needed. I am happy to join this family :)

Just discovered your music in January. Loved it so much I just had to find more. While I missed the recent concert I am happy I was able to become a patron. So happy I'm here.

You are so welcome :-) And thank you so much :-) During the live concert I signed off at one point (43 or some minutes in) and you said goodbye and your first try at pronouncing my name was pretty close ;-) Writing it out is guess its e-ben said fast - its kind of hard because its really Danish (meaning the b doesn't quite sound like a b) and I have no idea how to write out pronunciation :-P

Hello Kina and the rest of KG Records! Loved your online concert! Your music is beautiful and enchanting. I love that you didn’t go with the mainstream labels who would have sacrificed your voice and vision for ‘popular catchy’ tunes. I’m not much of a musical person and rarely watched YouTube until this last year. But my first time seeing you was long ago in Wong Fu’s Funemployment series(you were by far the most natural actor in that series). I listened to some of your songs and liked them but unfortunately wasn’t into following anyone back then. That changed last year after having a tough time with work and getting back into music and videos to relax. I saw you in Single By Thirty, which you did a wonderful job acting in alongside Harry, and fell back in love with your music. Each one of your songs have such strong stories and messages woven together that I had to support you in your journey. It’s hard to pick which song is my favorite or which I’d share first with someone because each is great. In the Waiting is so helpful for putting life in perspective and moving forward. Souvenirs is a great song of life’s unexpected difficulties and overcoming them. Too Soon really resonated with me and helped me see how others process troubles or anxiety. I am one of those guys who wants to help and doesn’t like friends and family hurting alone. Sometimes helping means letting go. Blind overbearing love isn’t really love. Those are only a few of your most recent songs, but I haven’t found one I don’t like.(I’m clearly working my way back through them all, over and over). Hi Kina, I'm Gio ( everyone calls me Gio my name too long ) I'm from Sucre Bolivia, I follow you since .. umm ... let me see ... ( i was remembering in your youtube channel), but I remember that is way before Valentine's video, so it must be around 8 years ago, I remember watching covers of songs, guitar covers mostly, playing my guitar and dreaming about playing Taylor guitars again, so I saw a Taylor and you were playing it, so I Knew your voice and was an absolute Click, (literally) so every now and then I try to hear your music, and your voice, I think that is so colorful, and transmit a lot of soul and goood vibes and good transparent feelings. Now I'm Married, and my wife and I have "Valentine" as one of our songs ( we have like a soundtrack of songs ) and yours is really special. I have been a subscriber on Youtube for a few years – I believe my way to you was through Kurt Hugo Schneider. I became part of your Patreon family in June when I finished my education as a psychologist and could afford it 😊. Your Elements album is one of my all-time favorite albums and you are one of my absolute favorite artists. You were actually my most played artist on Spotify in 2017 😉 Your music is perfect to bring a bit of peace and happiness to my mind and soul. It has helped me through studying for tough exams, getting trough days of bad mood and now through the hopelessness of still searching for my first job. One of my favorite things to do is going for a walk by Odense River while listening to your music 😊 So I want to thank for being you, an inspiration for how I want to be a human in this world, and thank for making such wonderful music. Until by chance one day I came across one of your covers on you tube, I listened to a few songs and thought they were very nice then life intervened and some time had passed until I reconnected with your music which has helped me through some rough days given me refuge from the storm thank you, I decided to catch you on you online concert which was awesome!
