New Video: Yellow (Coldplay) & and update!

hello! how are you? as i write this, i'm about 8 hours away from heading to an airport to venture to montana for the first time for a wedding! super excited (though i have not yet packed, or slept, but we'll get to that...).
i so loved covering "yellow". it was a special song to me back in my high school days, and one that always felt untouchable somehow. singing it around the house these past few days as i prepared for this shoot felt so good. it reminded me how much i love singing :)
this week has been a crazy week of recording and video shoots--the most exciting of which was a two-day shoot jesse and i did for my new song coming out later this month. it was the first time i've written out a full-on treatment and shot list for a music video myself. even though the shoot was pretty simple in nature, it was such a huge undertaking! i never realized just how much planning goes into figuring this stuff out. now i have about 80 thousand clips i somehow need to stitch into a video that makes sense by the end of the month. let's hope i can pull that part off 😬
ok, off to go get some stuff done! happy friday and thanks for your support and company and general awesomeness <3

Being your age it may be no wonder that this song played a significant role in my life. I'm so grateful that you reminded me of the song, and I bet I will be singing this during this lovely sunny day and more to come. You are a BIG inspiration to me and have been for quite a while. I'm growing to trust that I can do what I dream to do. It takes time, it takes confidence, it takes trial and error. Aww Yellow makes my mom cry cause she says it reminds her of the first time I sung with a microphone so it was loud enough for her to hear it. Was at a Christmas party :') Also currently listening to "I Will Spend my Whole Live Loving You" and tearing up ;__; ❤️
