HI!
1. I first wanted to apologize for being a little quiet this month. I have unexpectedly stumbled into a super productive period of songwriting that has had me pretty much giddy with excitement--but it's also kept me tucked in a room with my guitar and away from my computer. I'm hoping to spend a few more weeks riding this creative wave when I get home from Toronto, and then the plan is to start recording some of these songs immediately so I can share them with you all as soon as humanly possible :)
2. This video was super unexpected. I was wandering around the internet and saw that John Mayer had released some new music, randomly clicked on the last song in his new EP, and suddenly felt that I MUST PLAY THIS SONG. So I sat for about an hour singing through the song, then ran into the studio and said "JESSE CAN YOU SHOOT A VIDEO FOR ME??" And the rest is history. It's just such a beautiful song, so simply and classically written, and I love it :) Hope you enjoy it!
3. Coffee Date! For those of you Hedgehog level and up--our Coffee Date Hangout this month is going to be a special one. Jesse (AKA Imaingary Future AKA my husband) and I have decided to do our monthly hangout together :) It'll take place Monday January 30th at 9am PST. The link is below. And when your muse gets a hold of you, just let it pick you up and carry you off to who knows where. Art takes time. I can't wait to listen to some of your new babies !! π My plans for February are attending 4 concerts (starting with 2 next Thursday and Friday), going to see my cousin (and my goddaughter) and going skiing with 2 of my cousins (even though it will be just for one day, I'm so excited π).

As for February, if my calculations are correct at the very end of the month we'll be hearing some new material from this amazing artist named Kina Grannis, so we've got that to look forward to! :D
