Important updates for Patrons!

Hello beloved Patrons! As I've mentioned before, I'm still figuring Patreon out--finding the ways it works and doesn't work for myself, as well as the ways it works and doesn't work for all of you. My ultimate goal is for all of us to feel happy and good about all things Patreon! I'm made a couple small adjustments to get us a little closer to that. As my Patrons, it is of utmost importance to me that I am open about any and all changes with you because 1. this is OUR world, and you should know if anything ever changes and 2. I want you have the opportunity to change your pledge amounts if said changes ever make you desire to do so. Before moving on, let me reiterate this one very important thing. I am grateful, SO grateful, to have your support in whatever capacity or duration feels right and good to you. Every little thing you do to support me is a bonus, so if you ever want or need to stop or lower your level or cancel a pledge, please do so without hesitation. There is no circumstance in which anyone here owes me an explanation or an apology for anything. On to the updates! 1. As I'm transitioning from a period of mostly touring to a period of (hopefully) making music again, I wanted to update the "Where is your money going?" section. The answers are as follows: - Videos: Official, live acoustic, vlogs, tutorials, any and all types of videos. They all cost time and money, and thanks to you all, I'll continue to be able to make the best videos I can as often as I can. - Creating: While I love making videos, what really fuels me is making music. Your support will allow me the freedom to take the time to write songs, experiment, record, and ultimately be able to share new music with you! - LLS: 15% of your donation will continue to go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on behalf of Run Team Kina, helping fund cancer research, patient services, and hopefully helping us find a cure. 2. I'm making it official--no more than TWO videos a month will ever count towards Patreon. While I've mainly kept to this model over the last year, I wanted to set it in stone so you all know exactly what you're in for. The idea of charging you for three videos in a given month just felt overkill, so no matter what I put out, you can count on there never being more than two Patreon charges a month. 3. I wanted to make the $10 level more interactive and more exciting. Starting now, the $10 level (now named Executive Level Patrons) are going to help me create one of my Kina Mondays each month. Once a month I'll be asking all Patrons $10 and up for questions, suggestions, challenges, etc and be incorporating them into a video, blog, livestream, whatever it may be, for one of my Kina Mondays. Excited to work with you all! 4. A small adjustment for Gold Level Patrons ($30+)--I've changed the fine print to "your name will be included in at least one Patron-supported video each month." For the most part, if there are two videos in a given month, Gold Level Patrons will be credited in both, but I wanted to specify this change to pardon certain circumstances when either time, third parties, or artistic preference dictate it to be otherwise. One such example being official music videos--these are such precious pieces of art to me that it's important they get to stand on their own, as they were made, without anything else attached to them. This is the same reason I've never included the credits for all the many people who helped make my videos at the end, and instead include their credits in the video info section. In the same way, when time, people, preference, etc, result in your credits not being included in the video itself, I will be including you all in the credits in the video info section.
