wow of all the songs on the radio and pandora/spotify, i ended up on here listening to this for nearly 3 times now. it speaks volume. i got to see you in concert. you can make things happen through music. don't stopppp....

I totally agree with you, Chris!

just listened to the full Elements album. awesome work. do you find the Youtube Space to be a good place to record? any ideas for improvement?

Really good Kina. You are great live. What you can do with your voice is amazing and beautiful. Loved hearing you on your tour and I was very impressed. Will certainly take any other chance I get to hear you live. :) p.s. enjoyed your spreecast.

I started following pre-Stairwells, and I remember worrying about how the songs would transfer from these kind of performances to full instrumentation on the album (and of course having those worries absolutely set to rest by the final product). It is interesting that now the situation is reversed: I first heard most of the songs including Oh Father with full instrumentation and only after in stripped down one-take versions. Nietzsche once said that to understand him he must be read forwards and backwards, and it's so fascinating to watch Kina's music trace opposite trajectories in that way. Not just because all versions sound ah-mazing, which is certainly an accomplishment, but the different WAYS they sound amazing, and the ways they differ, like an album full of Stars Falling Down... tl;dr: Kina did a god job and she should feel good. :)

Some artists are able to perform even better live, and that's amazing (hint, I think you're one of them). Also, did you forget last month's "surprise mp3"..? It doesn't matter really, just wondering <3

You always sound amazing acoustic and live. No one does that better.

sorry I can't make it to tomorrow's spreecast but I'll be there in spirit! hopefully I can make it to the next one <3

Very nice! I like the fast tempo and strong guitar playing.... And of course, your gorgeous, unique & distinctive voice!!
