Hello Patrons! I'm writing from a plane en route to Washington, D.C. :) Release week is coming to a close and I couldn't be more happy with how it went. Here's a summary Monday: Did an in-store performance and signing at Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles. Super jitters, but SO exciting, and was the first time I'd really slowed down in several weeks to take in that I was finally sharing these new songs with the world. Tuesday: Release show in Los Angeles. So much love. Had the best time. Someone surprised me with Elements cupcakes. Winning! Wednesday: Packed for tour. Saw Ingrid Michaelson bring down the house at the Wiltern. Thursday: Drove to SF and played an hour-long in-store set at Anthropologie. Great turn out, fun times, and added bonus--mini cupcakes and macarons! Friday: Headed to the motherland (YouTube HQ) for a performance in their courtyard. Met tons of awesome people, one of which was the CEO herself, Susan. Very cool! Then headed straight to sound check at our San Francisco venue. Had a great time hanging with everyone at the show that night! Saturday: Recorded 4 songs for Daytrotter in SF. Super fun. My band = the best. Sunday (today): Travel day! Show in DC tomorrow. It's be a busy and awesome week. Here's to many many more weeks of life for my new baby, Elements. <3 Kina
