Orcs

Introducing one of the races which will be part of the next race poll, the description is intentionally light and will be further refined if they are chosen in the poll.  

Description:
Orcs are tall and very strong, they can be found anywhere in the world as they are tough and can survive even in extreme climates. There are still a few wild tribes roaming the lands but most have found their place in civilization where they are highly regarded as some of the best workers when it comes to physical labor, since they are easily twice as strong as the average human, they can usually request double pay. Another area where they have found their place is as guards because of their imposing stature.

Hair: Dark and full flowing hair, wild and untamed. To keep it in check they like to braid it.

Clothing: Simple and practical whatever fits the work they are doing as they perform lots of physical labor and guard jobs. Their traditional clothes consist of leather straps between which they stretch fabric or fur.

Average Height: 5’9”- 6’11” (175cm-210cm)

Body type: Muscular, tall and athletic. With well visible tusks. Their breast size is usually small to medium but it can vary depending on the amount of body fat they have, which usually increases during fall to be prepared for winter.

Food: They eat almost exclusively meat, often raw or dried, only slightly seasoned. In civilization many of them have acquired a taste for all kinds of alcohol which is often seen with worry from the higher ups because stopping a rampaging orc lady is almost impossible.

Magic: Magical abilities are very rare and do stay often undeveloped even unnoticed among the civilized orcs. In the wilds there are a few shamans traveling from tribe to tribe searching for children with the gift, they are highly respected there for their wisdom and prophecies.

Technology: They will use whatever tools they are provided and some have learned how to repair and maintain them  but they generally lack the patience to develop their own machinery.

Intimacy: Orcs perform the act of “snu-snu”, they try to capture the strongest male they can find and if he is considered strong enough, he will have to mate with the tribe, if he survives the process it is considered great luck for the children born from that “snu-snu” and he is then free to go wherever he wants. Most realms have forbidden those practices but they are still practiced in secret and still even a single orc can bring any man to his limits.
