Kifflom, brothers and sisters! It's been a while since I wrote anything. Time to catch up on what I've missed.
So, first thing I wanted to talk about is the voting. As you remember, at the beginning of the month, I conducted a poll where you could choose the girl of the month for me to draw. Well, the winner this month turned out to be Ladybug from the parallel dimension, as expected. You can see the picture attached to this post. By the way, I watched the special episode of the show to understand what I was dealing with. I must say, it was decent, though far from perfect. Generally, almost all the special episodes in the Ladybug universe are worth watching, but only if you're a fan of the franchise. Otherwise, a lot of it might be confusing and possibly even...wild.
What have I been up to in the last weeks? I have to admit, they definitely didn't go well for me. Winter hasn't even arrived, and I've already managed to get sick. And it's not just a common cold; it's accompanied by back pain. And I hate that! As an artist, I spend my working time sitting, so my tailbone is ready to kill me at any moment. Honestly, it's been like this for the last few years. Posture is one of my biggest problems. Alleviating my suffering could be an orthopedic chair, but good ones are expensive, so I need to save up some money. Actually, it's been two weeks, and I still haven't fully recovered. Because of this, I've been drawing less than usual. But you still see the picture, so it's not as bad as it seems.
Because of this type of work , not only my back hurts but also my eyes. So, while I was sick, I decided to go back to basics and tried drawing with traditional materials. For those interested, I use Pigma Micron and Pigma FB, BB, Tombow Fudenosuke. It's always fun to draw on paper. But, honestly, digital drawing currently gives me much more possibilities, and the final picture comes out much better with its application. You can't do Ctrl + Z on paper, you know what I mean.
The positive side of the illness, if you can call it that, was the opportunity for me to watch a few more series. I watched the second season of Loki, and honestly, I didn't even understand why it was made. I've watched almost everything Marvel produces, and I can confidently say that in recent years, they've been making some kind of trash. I also watched the spin-off of The Boys, Gen V. This series was better than the first one, but I can't say it was something phenomenal. Apparently, I'm really tired of superhero stuff.
Oh, and one more thing. I also played through Mafia 2. Literally in a couple of days. It's a good game, just short. And it can't compete with the fifth GTA that came out a couple of years later. Although, maybe it shouldn't?
About work. As you can see, for now, I can't share anything substantial, but, trust me, work IS in progress. Thanks for your subscriptions and support. Those few dozen bucks from Patreon really matters. Probably, that's it for now, see ya soon, guys!
